Mission Opportunities

Mission support is very important to our church. As a church we give to the Cooperative Program, which supports Southern Baptist home and foreign missionaries.

Each year members of our church have a chance for "hands on" mission work. Since 1993 our church has sponsered a yearly summer mission trip. We have 30-35 people (children, youth and adults) give a week of their summer to go and work on churches and homes and conduct Vacation Bible School in other states. Some of the places we have worked are Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia, Missouri and Louisiana.

Our youth also participates in missions by going to conduct VBS, prayer walks, and other activities in South Carolina. Throughout the year there are other mission opportunities that become available, such as Christmas gift distribution and trips to foreign countries.
